2019 Suzuki Hayabusa – Launch Date
The all-new 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa has reached its life cycle and is due for a revolutionary change. The bike that set the roads on fire once, need to repeat the history with the upcoming model. The new Hayabusa is expected to be launched in 2019 for the global market. Since Hayabusa is assembled in India, we might get a year later in 2020.

2019 Suzuki Hayabusa – Launch Price
Suzuki started assembling the Hayabusa in India back in 2016. The result was a steep dip in the price of INR 2.5 lakh. Currently, the Hayabusa retails for INR 13.88 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The upcoming 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa will feature revolutionary changes in terms of drivetrain and electronics. This would also result in a hefty price tag. We believe, in order to tackle this situation, Suzuki might launch tow different models of the Hayabusa i.e. a racing version and a touring version. The former would be powered by a turbocharged engine and will feature premium materials like carbon fibre.
The touring version could sport a reworked version of the existing engine increasing its capacity close to 1,400 cc. The pricing for the standard/touring variant could start around INR 14.5 lakh to compete with the ZX-14R. The racing version will be pitted against the H2 and the H2R and would feature a hefty price tag around INR 30 lakh.
2019 Suzuki Hayabusa – Engine
The Hayabusa competes with the ZX-14R leaving H2 and H2R segment all for Kawasaki. As mentioned above, with the new Hayabusa, Suzuki might launch an ‘R’ edition to pit it against the supercharged monster. The reports by several agencies globally state that the upcoming 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa might feature either a 1,400 cc engine or a turbocharged engine. We say why not both? Suzuki initially showcased a turbocharged engine at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show on a 600 cc engine. Last month though, Suzuki applied for a patent for a turbocharged 1.0-litre four-cylinder engine to power its upcoming bikes. The power output of either engine is no available right now. 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa – Gearbox
The upcoming 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa is expected to feature a semi-automatic gearbox. A semi-automatic gearbox means the new Hayabusa will lack a clutch and might offer additional flappy pedal alongside the traditional foot pedal. To increase acceleration and feature higher top speed, the gearbox might get additional gears to set the segment on fire.
2019 Suzuki Hayabusa – Safety Tech
The upcoming 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa is expected to feature major updates in terms of electronics. The upcoming Hayabusa will feature technology derived from Suzuki’s Recursion concept project. The updated electronics will feature cruise control, traction control system and highly updated versions of the existing tech i.e. ABS, Ride Modes etc.
